The DRAPsound acoustic IRs (impulse responses) are developed at 44100 Hz, 24 bit, 2048 samples, to be compatible with most of the IR LOADERs on the market (Ampero II, Kemper, Helix, Fractal, PodGo, QuadCortex, Headrush, Mooer, and many others).
They allow you to emulate the sound that would be obtained by recording the guitar with a high quality condenser microphone, using only the signal of the piezoelectric pickup (built into the guitar) free from unwanted "larsen" effects. However, since the IR is a signal processing tool and not a "sampling", each guitar model (with its relative pickup) requires a specific IR custom calculated on the specific guitar model.
